For general readers the interpretations are very close, and will apply to you as written. For serious students of astrology wishing to be exact, the following explanation will tell you how to do it.
There is an easy way to find the strength of an aspect for the exact day you were born. Suppose you are a Taurus born between May 3rd and May 7th, and you have a reading for Venus Conjunct sun (the first planet is the transiting planet; the second is your natal sun of course). Preceding the reading are two dates, such as (May 2nd May 8th), the first date indicates the aspect forming, and the second date when the aspect separates or ends. For someone born on May 5th the aspect peaks or reaches full strength between the two dates, or on May 5th. If you were born on May 3rd, then the peak date would be close to the first date, or May 3rd. If you were born on May 7th, then the peak date would be closer to the other end of the two dates, or May 7th. Some aspects last for months, if your birthday is in the middle of the beginning and ending dates given for your sign, then the peak for you is in the middle of the begining and ending months of the transit.
This is good as a general rule, but due to retrograde motion, you need your chart and an ephemeris to be precise. If this seems complicated, then let me know, and I'll help you out.
When two readings seem contradictory, such as with Jupiter and Saturn, they aren't really; but they will mitigate much of their strength, and in some cases tend to cancel each other out. Watch the dates, since one planet will usually be in aspect longer than the other.
Bear in mind that many other things are going on in your particular horoscope to modify the readings. Remember the phrase: "All other things being equal..."? Sun-sign interpretations should include this statement, BUT "all other things" are rarely--if ever--equal, so a really good forecast should include transits to all your planets, not just the sun.
