Q: Are you saying that the sun is God?--Nancy Glomb

A: The sun is the physical manifestation of the ONE, and could just as well be called God; I prefer Creative Principle. In the beginning matter came into being with the occurrence of the Big Bang. Mind coalesced with matter forming stars. The IDEA of creation blossomed into a mental event and fulfilled itself through the energy of the sun.

The sun is not the traditional God of Christianity; such as a Being requiring direct prayer, or a creator looking on at every little thing happening in the universe. (there isn't any logical reason it couldn't be otherwise, although I don't think Plotinus would consider it consistent with his System). The Plotinian ONE as the sun has no need for prayers, supplications, offerings, or gruesome sacrifices.

This is not to say that Great Spiritual Beings don't exist, or that prayer is not effective, on the contrary, we find the Law of Grace, and such things as miracles, happening quite often. There is no reason for anyone to question their faith if they find comfort in it, I just don't believe in hurting or killing in its name.
